Youth Turkey Hunt leads to Committee Member Recruitment
I was recently asked to assist on a youth turkey hunt by calling for the kids. They were all from the greater Houston area, were I needed to recruit committee members. (They were there with their parents.)
When I arrived with the Weatherford Chair Mark Worthington, they were short Hunter Orange caps. Shazam! The MDF stepped up! Pictured is also Terrance Jackson, a committee member with our Ft. Bend County (Houston) Chapter. I am proud to report, we gained three new committee members from this activity and much good will.
