2008 Annual Report

The Mule Deer Foundation celebrated its 20th year Anniversary in 2008. MDF was officially incorporated on July 8, 1988 in Redding California.

MDF set records in 2007 and again in 2008 for the number and amount of state wildlife auction tags sold by any conservation organization. In 2007, we sold $1.4 million in tags and in 2008 a record $1.66 million were sold. The money from the sales of these tags goes back to state wildlife agencies for habitat projects, research and management programs. More ...

2007 Annual Report

We started off quickly in November 2006 by moving the office from Reno and the merchandise division from Denver to Salt Lake City. Next up was the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo here in Salt Lake City. We raised over 12 million dollars for wildlife and 25,000 people attended the expo. The WHCE is now one of the largest sport shows in the country. We are looking forward to an incredible expo in February of 2008. You do not want to miss it. More ...
