Family Hunting

I had a great 2010 bow season in Idaho this year. Not only because I shot my biggest with my bow to date, but because I was able to do it with my father. As a third year college student time with dad is sparse, and it was awesome to have him there when I killed this buck. After an intense stock that included an elevation decline of 1,300 feet, I was able to close the distance to 50 yards and let fly. With a one shot kill the buck only ran thirty yards before expiring. With this buck scoring just over 170 it was a hunt to remember and one I will never forget.
