Tags
The definition of a tag is a hunt-ready document that gives the right to hunt to the individual, the license to hunt, and the tag to attach to the animal once it is harvested.
Permits
The definition of a permit is a document that secures the right to hunt for the individual but does not give them the right to hunt until the actual license to hunt is purchased from the governing state agency.
